Tiny House

I love tiny houses. It maximizes the living space as well as the ground.
I am a frustrated architect and interior designer because I reject the idea of pleasing people. (Nah, I just preferred to be an engineer.) Yet, It did not stop me from designing now and then through an app I found in Google Play.

Say, you have a 35 square meter lot. The width is five meters with a length of seven meters. You are a family of three. We assume that you want a rustic, elegant home but small. We will also presume that we have a limited budget, but we want an Instagram worth of interior. Let us not forget that we also have a four-wheeled vehicle.

I have here a one level house with a dimension of a 20 footer container van. The width is 2.35 meters and 5.90 meters long.

Let us pretend that all windows and doors are sliding type. It is a way to optimize space. You may see that all openings are on one side. As in feng shui, no doors nor windows should be across each other. We can see that a standard-sized sedan can fit into the lot.

The catch is, we don't have a guest receiving area. I put in a garden bench and an outdoor table to see that good-sized chairs and tables can fit into that spare ground. You check out this link for choices on which Garden Bench you prefer.

I attached the unit in front so that we can have a laundry space at the back. There is enough room for plants as well. As for the kitchen, I love the window on top of a sink. Don't you? I made the kitchen wall into bricks to absorb the heat. It looks good too.

I love colors, as they add joy to our lives. The bathroom walls are of different exteriors. One more interesting about this design is the Loft Bed. We can make use of the lower part of the frame for our dressers. You can also check out this type of frame on the link. I put in three people to see the spaces between objects to have us a clear idea of the whole set up.

Tiny living is a choice that as other options have consequences. It is a lifestyle that we can try or simply appreciate.
